Structural Steel Fabrication

We fabricate structural steel and miscellaneous metals from approved shop drawings, with quality control at every stage of the process — from cutting and welding in the shop to erection in the field.

What we fabricate

Primary and secondary steel structure, welded and bolted connections, stairs, railings, and miscellaneous metals for commercial, industrial, and residential projects.

Quality control

Every piece is checked against the approved shop drawings before it leaves the shop, with weld inspection and dimensional control prior to shipping to minimize field adjustments.

From detailing to fabrication

When we handle the steel detailing ourselves (see our steel detailing service), the move to fabrication is direct — the same pieces, dimensions, and connections approved in the shop drawings.

Steel fabrication FAQ

What's the difference between detailing and fabrication?

Detailing produces the shop drawings that specify every piece; fabrication is the physical process of cutting, welding, and assembling the steel to those drawings.

Can you fabricate from a third party's shop drawings?

Yes, we fabricate from any approved shop drawings — ours or another detailer's — as long as they carry the engineer of record's review.

What quality standards do you follow?

Dimensional control and weld inspection at every stage, aligned to AISC 360 tolerances and project requirements.
